Let's immerse ourselves in the universe of animation: AF will bring to you 2 Ciné-clubs and limited free streaming in October.

The 19th edition of the Animation Festival - Fête du cinéma d'animation - will take place from 14th to 31st October 2020. For almost two decades, the festival organized by the Association Française du Cinéma d'Animation has endeavored to promote the diversity of animated cinema, with its numerous films and filmmakers. The event takes place each year simultaneously in hundreds of cities in France, and in the cultural network abroad. 


AFHK, as participant of the Festival, will bring to our members 2 Ciné-clubs and a limited free streaming service during the month.

7th October 2020 - 7pm : Avril et le monde truqué (April and the Extraordinary World)

28th October 2020 - 7pm : Les Hirondelles de Kaboul (The Swallows of Kabul)

Free Online Streaming : 

To accommodate the current situation, the Festival together with Institut Français will bring to the publics of AF a selection of films available on online streaming. FREE of charge and with no registration required, 2 feature animation films and 11 short films are available to you all from 14th to 31st October

It is 1916. Twelve-year-old Adama lives in a remote village in Western Africa. Beyond the cliffs, the World of Breaths can be found, where the Nassaras reign. One night, Samba, his older brother, disappears. Defying the laws of the elders, Adama decides to set out to find him. With the unwavering determination of a child becoming a man, he launches into a quest that will take him beyond the seas, to the North, to the front lines of World War One.

When about to set off on the great migration, Darius, the oldest member and leader of the flock, is injured. He must confide all his secrets and the new itinerary to the first bird that comes along. And this bird... is our hero, thrilled by the idea of discovering the world at last... but not all a migratory one!
