Alliance Française de Hong Kong and the University Museum and Art Gallery present The Little Prince and the Pilot.
In celebration of the 80th anniversary of The Little Prince’s publication in
France, this multigenerational exhibition displays rare, original artifacts. Along four thematic journeys through Saint-Exupéry’s
extraordinary life: first through his Overview, exploring his upbringing and cherished memories through rare
photographs and personal letters to family and friends; then as The Explorer (with artifacts, letters, photos,
and maps from his pioneering flights), The WWII Hero (with military objects and reconnaissance photos) and The
Little Prince (with
manuscripts, original editions, and global translations of The Little Prince).
To deepen the experience, tailored school tours, group visits, and curated guided tours can be organized upon request. There will be
educational workshops organized by the University of Hong Kong and thematic French courses, Summer camps and learning activities
offered by the Alliance Française Hong Kong.
This exhibition is made possible thanks to the generous support of our main sponsor, IWC Schaffhausen, and our
