Synopsis 

Staadt est un état imaginaire où deux forces politiques opposées se partagent le pouvoir. Le peuple est donc en proie à deux propagandes : "achetez", dit l'une, "attendez notre révolution", dit l'autre. Mais lorsqu'il s'agit d'éliminer des ennemis communs qui refusent toute idéologie et tentent d'affirmer leur liberté individuelle, "le droit de vivre et de mourir", ces deux pouvoirs s'accordent. Tout le film se passe dans une seule pièce où sont réunis les représentants des deux forces politiques et leur ennemi "le juif". Un personnage féminin établit le dialogue entre ces individus et commente l'idéologie de chacun.

Staadt is an imaginary state where two opposed political forces share the power. The people is therefore subject to two different propagandas: "buy", says one, "wait for our revolution"says the other. But when the time comes to get rid of common enemies who refuse any ideology and try to make a statement out of their individual liberty ("the right to live and to die"), the two powers unite. The whole movie takes place in a room where are reunited the representative of the two powers and their enemy, the "Jew". A female character establishes the dialogue between these individuals et comments on their respective ideologies.
