Synopsis
Lors de vacances dans un hôtel entouré d'une forêt luxuriante, le couple marié Max et Alissa se lient d'amitié avec deux nouveaux arrivants. Elisabeth Alione fait le deuil d'une fausse couche et semble prendre ses distances de son riche mari, Bernard, pendant que l'auteur Stein s'entiche d'Alissa. Le film se concentre sur les thèmes de l'identité, l'allégorie politique et la manipulation psychologique.
On vacation at a quiet hotel surrounded by a lush green forest, married couple Max and Alissa become fast friends with two new arrivals. Elisabeth Alione is coping with a recent miscarriage and seems detached from her wealthy husband, Bernard, while aspiring novelist Stein grows increasingly besotted with the lovely Alissa. The film focuses on themes of identity dissolution, political allegory, and psychological manipulation.
