Cooking Workshop kids : Canelés

Young home cooks and dessert amateurs (and their parents), if you have missed the workshop on Les Truffes au chocolat last
month, don't miss out on the upcoming one, brought to you by Alliance Française just before Christmas time (Noël).
We did it with adults, we did it with university students, and now the kids too can have a chance to do Canelés.
Canelé
is a specialty of Bordeaux since the ancient time - tracing back to the 18th century where nuns in a convent in Gironde
invented the small cake, and is now widely available in French pastry (pâtisserie). Who can resist
the soft and mellow dough with a flavour of vanilla and - just a little bit of - rum?
