For the little chefs from 8 to 12 year-old

Young junior chefs, dessert lovers and the food-curious, time to work your little fingers and learn to make this delicious french dessert. La truffe au chocolat (Chocolate truffle) is a chocolate confectionary (confiserie) usually in a spherical or curved shape (the cute tiny ball shape). Don't be mistaken by the name, it contains no truffle; the name actually derives from its resemblance to the real truffles.

It originated in France and is invented by a pastry chef (pâtissier) in Chambéry named Louis Dufour. It is often offered as gift, especially in Christmas (Noël)

We will bring you our French teacher and passionate cook Betty Grisoni. With her you will discover the stories and secrets behind the chocolate truffles.
