The DELF B1 Preparation Workshop is designed for adult learners aiming to improve their French language skills and successfully pass the DELF B1 examination. This engaging and intensive workshop spans 5 weeks, totaling 10 hours, and focuses on practical communication in various contexts, including work, travel, and social situations.

Objectives:

• Familiarize participants with the DELF B1 exam format and assessment criteria.
• Enhance language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Develop the ability to express opinions, engage in conversations, and understand diverse texts.
• Provide effective strategies for successful exam preparation.

Workshop Content:

1. Introduction to DELF B1:
   
   • Overview of the exam structure and grading principles.
   • Discussion of the importance of French proficiency for personal and professional growth.
2. Listening Skills:
   
   • Interactive listening exercises using audio materials relevant to adult learners, such as interviews, news reports, and podcasts.
3. Speaking Skills:
   
   • Practical speaking activities that promote discussions on current events, personal experiences, and opinions.
   • Strategies for clear and confident communication in both formal and informal settings.
4. Reading Comprehension:
   
   • Approaches for analyzing different text types, including articles, essays, and correspondence.
   • Practice with comprehension exercises focused on extracting main ideas and details.
5. Writing Skills:
   
   • Guidance on writing structured texts such as letters, essays, and reports.
   • Emphasis on proper grammar, vocabulary, coherence, and appropriate tone for different contexts.
6. Mock Examinations:
   
   • Full-length practice exams to simulate the DELF B1 test experience.

Focus on Grammar and Speaking : A2–B1 Level (In classroom and online via Zoom).

10 specialized classes, Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:30am in Wan Chai.

Description :

Join our French catch-up class, which is designed for learners at the A2 and B1 level.

This class will help you to reinforce your grammatical skills in a simple way.

Objectives :

• Improve your sentence formation skills to help you ask and answer questions.
  
• Practice using the present, past and future tenses, as well as pronoun substitutions.
  
• Learn how to avoid common errors.

Format :

• Educational materials will be shared and updated in the online document at the beginning of each session. 
  
• Discussions and role-plays will be used to apply the learnt concepts.
  
• Each class lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.

4 specialised classes (workshops) 

Description:
Join us for an interactive grammar workshop designed for learners at A2 and B1 level.This workshop will help you reinforce your grammatical abilities in an accessible way.

Objectives :
- Learn to understand and use basic grammatical structures.
- Practice using the present, past, and future tenses.
- Improve you sentence formation and tense agreement skills.
- Develop strategies to avoid common errors.
Format :
- Practical activities and group exercises.
- Discussions and role-plays will be used to apply the concepts you have learned.
- Educational materials are included.

10 specialized classes, Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:00pm in Wan Chai.

Description :

Join our French catch-up class, which is designed for learners at the A2 and B1 level.

This class will help you to improve your speaking skills in a simple way.

Objectives :

• Improve your sentence formation to ask and answer questions.
  
• Practice using useful daily expressions in different everyday situations.
  
• Develop strategies to avoid common errors.

Format :

• Educational materials will be shared and updated in the online document at the beginning of each session. 
  
• Discussions and role-plays will be used to apply the concepts learnt.
  
• Each class lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.
  

Pace: Each lesson = 1h30

Our French for business workshop will help you to interact with colleagues and clients in a French speaking professional environment. Our 20-hour workshops are additional and complement to regular courses. 

There are different thematic workshops offered including boost your professional profile, and present your company. You will also get to expand your horizon and meet an established business representative at the end of the workshop.
