Avril et le Monde truqué est un film d’animation franco-québécois sorti en 2015, réalisé par Christian Desmares et Franck Ekinci. Le film rend un hommage vibrant aux romans de Jules Verne à travers l’univers et le style graphique du dessinateur Jacques Tardi. Cette uchronie se déroule dans un Paris alternatif de 1941, où le progrès scientifique est interrompu par une mystérieuse organisation qui enlève les grands savants, plongeant le monde dans une ère de charbon et de vapeur.
