Teens Regular French classes

Keep the pace all year through with our regular courses

Our French courses help teens from 11 to 16 years old develop a solid foundation of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills all through the school year. All levels are available in our 3 centres and online.

Our mission is to awaken young teens’ interest and imagination while providing them with learning strategies to become independent French language learners.

We are proud to be the only place in Hong Kong offering a comprehensive teen curriculum that spans A1 to B2 levels.

Our teen courses are designed not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire students to reach their full potential and achieve outstanding results in their examinations. We provide comprehensive support tailored to the specific requirements of the IGCSE, IB DP Ab Initio exams (A1 to B1 curriculum), IB DP French B, SAT, A-Level exams (B1 & B2 curriculum), and DELF Junior exams, which count as a Category C subject for the DSE.

With expert instructors and engaging resources, we enhance language skills and exam strategies, ensuring students are confident and well-prepared for success.

How French benefit every learners

A Subject That Adapts to the Student

Unlike traditional electives built around a single high-stakes exam, French offers something increasingly rare: flexibility. Through the internationally recognised DELF Junior diploma, students can build their proficiency gradually and demonstrate genuine, real-world language skills.

Supporting Our Local (HKDSE) Students

For students taking French as a Category C subject, the HKEAA accepts the highest result attained within the two years before the HKDSE. This means students can sit the DELF exam more than once, easing exam-day pressure and allowing their score to reflect their true ability.

We encourage students to begin early. A strong result in Form 4 or Form 5 frees up valuable time in Form 6 to concentrate on core subjects.

Supporting Our International-Track Students

For those following the IB, A-Level, or AP curricula, French is equally powerful:

  • Reinforces skills that support formal language examinations
  • Strengthens university applications, both locally and abroad
  • May satisfy language-entry requirements for universities in France, Canada, Switzerland, and beyond
  • Provides a permanent, globally respected certification

A DELF qualification can meaningfully raise a JUPAS score:

A Word of Encouragement

Learning a language rewards consistency over cramming. Students who begin their French journey early give themselves the gift of time, and open doors to a world of academic and career opportunities.

HKDSE French Exam : DELF A2

The Diplôme d’Études de Langue Française (DELF)  is arranged to be the stipulated official language examinations for Category C subjects of 2025 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) and onwards.

Students who would like to take the French language as a Category C subject must take the DELF examination in level A2 or above within the two years preceding the HKDSE they sit.  I.e. for 2025 HKDSE candidates, DELF has to be taken in 2023 and 2024.
