Come and support the young talents!
The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macao is organising the Hong Kong and Macao 2025 Inter-university Oratory
Competition.
The Oratory competition aims to promote the French language and highlight Women in the Francophonie. Students for whom French is a
foreign language are invited to express their talents in the French language!
Come support them! It's a great opportunity to witness the performance of talented young Hongkongers passionate about the French language. Who knows…it might be your turn, or that of your students or children, for the next edition !
The concours will end at 4:15 PM with a conference given by Dr. Caroline Ha Thuc, an art writer,
researcher, and curator specializing in Asian contemporary art "Women Artists in Hong Kong: Diversity and Proliferation of Contemporary
Practices".
Themes
- For category A2/B1, 5 to 7 min. oral presentation to the jury, on the subject : Which female figure inspires you? Explain why.
- For category B2, 7 to 9 min. oral presentation to the jury, on the subject : If feminism was a color, what color would it be ?
Prizes
- The winners of the A2/B1 and B2 categories will win a four-week language study holiday in France, including air tickets and accommodation.
- A special prize known as the ‘creativity prize’ will be awarded for a particularly creative presentation, regardless of category.
- A "Public Prize"will be awarded after a secret ballot.
